Double Bass YouTube Drum Play-Alongs w/o Bass

I'm a big fan of backing tracks or "play-alongs". I record my own gypsy rhythm guitar tracks and solo to them with headphones on.

Now that I'm learning DB, I'm fond of these Gypsy Jazz Play-Along clips on YouTube.

However, I can't find anybody just playing straight ahead drums or brushes. The rest of the world uses the Aebersold play-alongs, but obviously I want something with no bass.

I even searched at a drummer's forum, but the YouTube clips they share are mostly solos, like this one from Max Roach.

I'd love to find some conga clips as well, but the stuff I've found on YouTube is either solo or instructional for conga players with talking, stopping, and tempo changes. I did find this clip of Tamba Gwindi.

YouTube has so much stuff, shouldn't there just be some clips of drummers just grooving?

Post your links here, or better yet go shoot some clips of your own drummers. Make them play with brushes. I like brushes.

garage band is free on macs and has jazz "refills" available. You can always record a good drummer and put it in a sequencer an loop part or all of it

Yeah, I'm already looping tracks in DAW software, and I'm familiar with my options as far as that goes. And yeah, if my gypsy swing combo had a drummer I'd for sure just ask him to play by himself for four minutes and record it. But alas, the drummer in gypsy jazz is just two more guitarists.

Wouldn't you think of the hundred and forty million clips on YouTube some of them would just be a nice jazz drummer playing for a few minutes without soloing?

That's just odd to me.

most of the drummers i know complain about drummers who go way out in every single chorus. then when they're "good enough" to go out suddenly they start playing 7 behind you while you're walking in four and they never play any two drums or cymbals at the same time.
