I don't know if this is the correct forum or not so my apoligies up front. I have been checking out a number of bass related videos on youtube. some are gear-related ,repair and maintenance related and so on. I teach a guitar/ bass applied music course and these are a wonderful supplemental resource. My question is: does anyone have any experience in saving these videos on your home computer. Is it possible to capture them and create a folder on my hard drive?

any help would be appreciated. (did a search but no luck)

Sure is,

Download the video here:
http://keepvid.com/

Then find a flv player on the web.
A good one is Wimpy FLV. Not sure of the URL but google will get you there.

This will allow you to keep the Utube files (flv fines) on your PC. Good luck!
