I have really nice Hungarian made bass preamp. It's passive/ active, 3 bands with frequency selection for all 3 bands. 18 volt. Active/passive volume, blend, bass, mid, treble is the parameters.Not sure if it's capable of 9 volts. Great preamp. Had to replace the blend pot with a Noll. $150 o.b.o. Will respond a.s.a.p.
