Zoom b1on power supply

Zoom multis don't like being on a daisy chain with other pedals, you will get some noise introduced into the signal. Any standalone 9v supply or a fancier one with isolated outputs would do as long as they can supply enough current (not sure how many mA it requires).

I have a B1xon - when using it in isolation, I use either my laptop or a USB adapter the way sleepyEDB mentions. On my pedalboard, I use it with my 1Spot.

To each his own, I guess, but I haven't noticed this with my Zoom multis.

Regarding the B1xon, from Zoom B1Xon Settings Thread...... OMG | Page 4 | TalkBass.com -

For anyone who is curious: I measured the actual current draw of this FX unit at 120-130mA.

Though I, personally, would be inclined to give it the benefit of the entire 500mA, as listed in the Zoom B1Xon Settings Thread...... OMG | Page 4 | TalkBass.com

Ive used a 1spot and or batteries for my B1Xon. But I will say this, mine is noisy. But, it could be the way I set levels. Ive had the hardest time setting levels on that darn thing going from headphone practicing to my amp/combo practicing.

I hope you guys don't mind me bumping a dead topic, but this is the first topic that pops up when you Google about B1on, noise and adapters.

I just bought one, when using a standard usb power brick with a 1.8m (6 ft) cable there is noise, but so little that I can't really hear it, maybe when my pc fan isn't running and I use headphones I could hear it, the signal is going into the DAW and that's why I know there is the slightest bit of noise. So that's totally acceptable in my opinion.

When powering it directly from a USB port in my PC I do get audible noise though. So I highly recommend a USB power brick (or the official optional adapter).
