Zoom B1X Four (how to turn off)

Just purchased this today. I noticed there is no ON / OFF button. The manual says it will turn off in 10 hours in eco mode. Do you all just leave on for 10 hours. Does this not drain the battery in a hurry?

It turns on when either guitar cable inserted into IN, or power is given via USB. Eject both and it will turn off.

I tried unplugging both the guitar cables from the input and output but it does not turn off. Only disconnecting the power works. This does not seem right

In the end leaving the power adapter (USB or 9V DC) "on" and the unit connected to it isn't right either...

I don't know the reason behind, but most modern bottom-line multi fx do not have on/off switch. Gladly, you don't have to remove batteries to turn it off...

Under the setup function there is a menu where you can choose battery life/usage.
I'm not sure if this will help.

Was a solution to this ever found? I'm having the same problem. Unplugging the input does nothing. The only way to shut it down is by removing the batteries or USB cord.

Mind turns off when I pull the guitar cable
I run on batteries only

Mine use to, but now I have to remove the batteries/USB to get it off. It did just sit around for a while.

I have mine powered via USB from my power supply. I've also used an USB battery pack. I've always had to kill the power source to get the unit to turn off.
