Zvex Machine = Fun!!!

just got one after reading on the reviews on the zvex forums about the machine, had to get one for myself, and holy crap, awesome overdrive.

of course, like the woolly mammoth, it does sound better w/ my lakland USA bob glaub, but, it still passable w/ my active sadowsky metro.

but the real fun comes when i use it in front of my EBS Valvedrive. with the VD set low yet thick and furry, but hit the machine and BLAMO, thick fuzz bombed distortion!

anyone else using one?

Don't have one. Want to try it out someday though. Some recorded samples would be nice if you've got the time to do it.

off topic, but how do you like the valve drive? I've been looking for another overdrive as a different flavor to my fulltone bassdrive.

I also noticed that you play with Koo Chung - I saw him last year, he was touring with a couple other singer/songwriters in the NOVA area - talented bunch. There was a female singer/pianist that stole the show at the end, but I don't remember her name...
