I had a Music Man Sterling bass up for trade, I was looking to get an American Fender P bass in return. He made an offer, sent many pictures to show where there was wear on the bass. I was interested, so he shipped it to me and told me to hold on to the Sterling until I was sure I was satisfied with the P Bass. How cool is that? I loved the bass and shipped the Sterling.

I was looking for an SX SPB-57 or 62 short scale with the old style headstock. Those of you, who are familiar with the "SX New vs Old Headstock" debate will also know that the Old Style has become almost impossible to find.
Monster Truck (aka: Kenny) had one... and was willing to sell it a a very fair price. He also checked the bass out, identifing any and all potential issues, via very informative and enjoyable communication here within TB. He then played it during a gig... before shipping... to make sure that it would perform as promised.
On top of all this, his packaging efforts exceeded every bass or guitar that I've ever purchased... wrapped (including stings), cushioned, double boxed and insured.
