1982 Peavey T-45 bass for local sale - great bass in really good condition. Black body with Maple neck. Body has a few minor scars & scratches, but it still looks great and plays like a dream. It's a unique bass that has many interesting features. It's getting harder and harder to find these anymore, and it's even harder to find one in this condition for less than $400.
The T-45 is similar to the T-40, except it has a single Humbucking/Single Coil pickup in the mid position. It has the same HB/SC Tone circuitry as the T-40 (0-7=HB mode, 7-10=SC) with an additional Tone knob for even more tonal range. The pickup position is what sold me on this bass - having owned both the T-20 and T-40, the pickup position on the T-45 makes it stand out over the others.
Some specs:
- Black body /Maple neck & fretboard
- Solid body (I think it's Northern Ash)
- Bolt-on Rock Maple neck with 21 frets
- Grover Titan tuners
- Peavey's patented Micro-Tilt neck angle adjuster
- High Mass Peavey Bridge
- new D'Addario Chrome Flats (45-100)
- made in USA in 1982 (Ser# 01272233)
- comes with the original Peavey "Bullet" case (also in great condition)
