Up for sale is my 2004 EBMM Stringray 4 in very good to excellent condition. This bass honestly looks like a new bass other than some very minor marks. It came that way from the previous owner, and I take excellent care of my gear. The only change I made to this bass was the setup to my specs, and I cleaned and waxed the neck and fretboard 'the EB' way. Neck is very fast, clean and feels great. The EQ gets the Stringray sound, and the pickup is great and strong. This bass does not have the dreaded weak G-string. Selling to get a 4-string Jazz-type bass in a specific color, and I have an SR5, so I am long on the EBMM tone.
As confirmed by EBMM directly, this bass was 'born' in February 2004, and is a '3-band EQ Stingray 4H in Graphite Pearl (discountinued color) with a rosewood fretboard'. Everything on the bass is original, and it is currently strung with EBMM Slinkys.
The pics are from the previous seller, and I will get some current pics as soon as I can. Unsure on the exact weight, but I think between 9-10 lbs based on my other basses.
I am now asking $850 shipped lower 48 USA, Paypal preferred. The bass comes with the original EBMM case, which has a few stickers on it, but is otherwise in great shape. Bonus to the buyer - the pickguard currently on the bass is a solid black, but I also have the original black pearloid factory pickguard that I will include with the bass. If you are in/near Charlotte, NC, I will adjust the price accordingly to avoid shipping and get this sold. The shipped asking price is I think very good for a bass of this vintage and condition.
Trades considered? Yes...willing to consider if you have a 4-string Lakland JO, Fender USA Jazz, or similar. Cash to the trade as needed. Otherwise, I'd prefer a straight sale.
Thanks for looking.
