UPDATE Regarding Strings:
Purchased in 2020 during lockdown from the 2nd owner who purchased from original owner in 2018. This bass helped me stay sane during lockdown…oh wait…but I’m selling it, …hmm. I’m just a gluttonous bass fool in need of a gear diet. I’ve only played it at home for a few months in a climate controlled environment and stored it in the case when not in use. It likely came with D’Addario Nickel rounds which I changed to D’Addario flats as I only use flats on all my basses. The action is low.
Overall, it’s been lightly used/well cared for by all owners and in excellent to mint condition. Comes with original Pedulla hardshell case with original truss rod tool, owners manual (printed from the internet). The case has some minor blemishes per photos, but the bass is pristine. If you pull the strings aside and shine a light on the poly fretboard, you can see some minor string wear. However, via the naked eye in normal light, it’s really not very noticeable. The glossy finish causes many reflections in pictures.
This bass is a gorgeous high gloss translucent cherry red and has a vibe like a Concours D’Elegance Ferrari reincarnated as a lined fretless bass. It may have similar collector value as Mike Pedulla retired in 2019 and no more are being made.
