The bass is very solid and fun to play.
Volume wise, I think my Kay is bassier and bigger-sounding but a little quieter if that makes sense...I think the King may cut through a band more? It seems louder in the mids. Not sure yet. Strings are a factor. I'll probably get guts on D and G at some point.
