Up for sale is a Bartolini Rickenbacker pickup, custom ordered in 1992 (1 of a batch of 6). The special thing about this one is that it features "unequal coils" like their 1C model, which is ideal for coil tapping, so the single coil mode isn't drastically quieter than the humbucker mode. I learned all of this in an email conversation with Doug at Bartolini. Their record-keeping is incredible and by looking up the code hand-written on the back of the pickup, they were able to pin-point the 30 year old order!
It works perfectly and is in excellent shape, I just haven't had a use for it and have decided to pass along some of my extra pickups and parts. Spring cleaning, I guess!
