Really unfortunate deal with this guy. When I received the Walrus Mantle it would not power on, only making this weird low clicking sound. I tried mutiple ports from a clean power source and still nothing. I then tried another power supply and still nothing. I reached out to Tinman and all he would do is ask AI what might be wrong and send me the conversation. No real research. I then requested to return for refund and he refused and insisted I broke it. Hard to break something that came dead on arrival. This really sucks and I just he doesn’t do this to all of you. I’ve been on here for over 20 years and have never met someone so lacking in integrity as this guy.

This is really too bad. Bassdudesteveo didn’t know how to opererate the Mantle with his Zuma. He didn’t do his research on the compatibility of the two, and what was needed in order for them to work together. He then plugged the Mantle into 12v and 18v, which will damage the Mantle. He conveniently left that out of his review for me. I have that admission in my messages, and would be happy to share it with anyone. He didn’t know what he was doing, didn’t do his research, and disregarded the strict power requirements of the Mantle. I shouldn’t be held responsible for that.

The Mantle arrived dead. I tried multiple 9v options (of course Tinman would leave that out) after doing my own non-AI only research like him. After nothing working I tried the 12v/18v but it was already gone so that has nothing to do with it. He takes no responsibility for sending a faulty pedal nor was he willing to help resolve the issue in any way, which is deeply concerning.

It takes more than just a 9V power supply. It needs to meet all the power requirements. Not just the voltage. Your Zuma has a hard cap at 500mA. The Mantle requires a bit more in order for it to power up. I just finished communicating with Walrus Audio. The information that I googled is in fact true. You needed to reset your Zuma and combined two ports (still running at 9V) so the Zuma can supply sufficient current to power up the Mantle. Walrus Audio will fix it for free. Check your messages.
