I know this is probably a needle in the haystack thing, but... I am the current owner of a Reverend Brad Houser 5 string that has been modded. While the pickups in it are quite good, I would really like to return the bass to it's original specs and sound. If you are reading this, you are probably familiar with the pickups, but just in case, the original pickups were two Dual-J style (like the old Schaller Double J's or some Peaveys), with no markings, both 3.75" (4 string bridge size), 4 wire, for use with 19mm/3" spaced bridge. I have seen Brad Houser's with both open pole pickups and covered pickups. I don't know which were on this bass.
The originals from the bass were sold on here several years ago. By chance, does anyone have them sitting in the parts collection? Or, does anyone know where I can get a similar type pickup?
