I bought Yamaha BBNE2 from this guy.
Originally, he was about to ship it from Rhode Island to Boston; however, since he had chance to come to Boston, he deliver it to me.
Bass was in perfect condition and well taken care of.
I really appreciate !

Buyer was very easy to work with, communication was perfect, very flexible in making arrangements. Payment was quick quick quick! I will gladly do business with him again and recommend this buyer to everyone at TalkBass. Thank you!
Just saw this delayed response. Wow, this guy is a real tool. I can't believe this escalated this this level of mediocre haggling and false assumption. It needs to be addressed. When shipping fragile equipment, you assume the risk of damage. Hence, insurance.
1) The shipping store resolved the issue because I paid them to pack and ship the cabinet. Which, again - was shipped in perfect working order. Insurance was purchased. A receipt could not be provided at the time of damage because I'm a touring musician and was overseas.
2) The shipping store resolved this issue because I filed a claim with Fedex, and they admitted fault. I live 3 blocks from this store in NYC and personally know the owner and his employees. I'm there 1-3 times a week. It's a fine store, they made a mistake, and corrected it.
3) The resolution I offered the buyer was in compliance with the guidelines of Fedex and their damage claim procedure.
I'm not sure what more needs to be made clear about this unfortunate exchange. Except, maybe think twice about selling to this guy on the internet. And, be thankful he isn't your neighbor.
The thing that I am most grateful about regarding TB is that it requires all participants to respect each other, maintain a high level of honesty with each transaction and treat all members with Integrity.
There were absolutely NO assumptions being made in the case of this transaction. EVERY THING that i posted was factual. I spoke to the shipping store owner myself. 3 times!!!
Fact is, Brian H continues to lie in saying he had this speaker packaged by the shipping store. Next Fact is, that Brian H, STILL cannot and WILL NOT provide a receipt for this packing service because, AS THE SHIPPING STORE OWNER MADE CLEAR, HE DID NOT PAY TO HAVE IT PACKED. He packed it himself, he used no material in the box to pad it, and it broke....
It really is just that simple.
Now, after all of that mess,.... He reverts to name calling?
seriously dude???.... A tool????
Maybe you should stick to Craigslist for selling your used gear Brian H....
