Are you trying to deter me from another impulsive trade?

Deter you...help you...help out someone on the fence?...who knows what I am up to other than sharing my opinion. Studio One is Broughton top shelf in my opinion. SSDI is my favorite thing he has made ever, Studio One is my favorite pedal format thing he has made ever. I would very much like to try the Quick Silver but I won't be letting go of a studio one to do so.

Gotta agree that the Studio One is right up at the top of a very big list of amazing Broughton gear. You'll regret it. A bunch.

Easily Top 3, and number 1 more often than not, IMHO.

Haven't tried a Quick Silver, but have sampled a Sun Ray.

I liked the Sun Ray a lot, awesome sounding pedal, but I'd never even consider swapping a Studio One for one. Quick Silver would have to be about 2-3x as good as the Sun Ray for me to consider making that trade.

Hmm. Would it be worth it for a Sun Ray AND a Quicksilver? :roflmao:

I traded mine for a Calamity and some cash, without even trying it first so what do I know... Having a Studio Boost and a Messenger is a good enough alternative from what I understand. If I ever get my hands on a S1 for real I'll find out if I was wrong..

If it doesn't bring you joy, let it go! My address is..

But for reals, if you can find a trade partner, and feel like you can manage without it, I'd do it. Desert island status is subjective. Good luck!

At least I figured out the power up toggle option trick for soft switches. Now the S1 and SS power up when energized.

Wait? How do you do that? My routine is power on, studio one on, proton on, mf101 off... *.*, ready, run.

You know how people say always on pedals you can't tell when they are off but you can tell when you turn them off...I can tell when I don't have the Studio One on. It is my ONLY always on that has been an always on since I got it. Never left.my board, never will. SunRay is a lot of hub bub cause RaR but Studio One is the box.

So how do I get mine to default to on?
