Yeah--haha! They're buying some of the best bass pedals ever made at used prices which, due to a strong sense of community ethics, are rarely inflated despite the extreme scarcity of the pedals in question! LOL

They very well may be some of the best but it’s hard to say since they don’t produce much and you never see any YouTube videos of demos of the ones that are out in the wild. Would be nice to get a try and decide myself but you guys are quick lol.

Totally agree The demo situation for Broughtons is really bad. There is Josh's Soundcloud (azure skies), as you may have seen, but it's limited and mostly for older stuff.

I can't speak to his reverb or modulation pedals but his dirt, preamps and utilities are exquisite (at least every single one that I've played). And hey, there's a Solarian in stock now if you want to give it a try! Not one of his more spectacularly-featured pedals but it's well-regarded, plus it's rated at unusually high voltages for a dirty boost so it can come after things (distortion, fuzz) you'd normally need to put a boost before (that's why I got one).
