Up for sell is my Celinder Marcus Miller tribute jazz bass. I bought it in 2001 from the original LA Bass Exchange in Tarzana. This is an incredible sounding and playing jazz bass and the craftsmanship is second to none. These basses are out of production and are considered rare.
The original pickups and preamp started giving me problems three months after I bought the bass. After months of trying to get a replacement preamp, I finally convinced Celinder to send me one but unfortunately it didn’t solve the problem. Replacement pre, pots, pickups were extremely noisy and didn’t do the bass justice; I didn’t care for the sound of the electronics anyway so I started trying different pickup and preamps. I have an Aguilar OBP-3 pre paired with their hum canceling pickups. Controls are volume p/p active passive, (no tone control in passive.) Pan, p/p mid control and bass/treble stacked. Out of all the different preamps and pickups I’ve tried the Aguilar system works the best, IMO.
Regarding payment; I’m not a big fan of using Paypal but will if you want to pay that way, I understand with all the scams out there.

This is not your ordinary jazz bass…and this one is hard to let go, but my tone tastes are changing and they’re other basses I want to try. But of course, like most of us I’m not rich and I got a sale to buy. Oh, I’m also selling a Status Graphite custom paramatrix bass if anyone’s interested.
