I am selling or wanting to trade my Combe Alyss 5 bass. I bought this bass last year from another TB member and I’m just not using it (I’m a 4 string guy at heart). It’s in the same minty condition as when I bought it and it hasn’t left the house. This exact bass is featured as on the Luthier Access Group home page.
These are French made. The luthier no longer makes these. It has Aguilar pickups and a proprietary 3 band preamp. 34” scale. Massive B string. Has a Sadowsky soft case. This bass is in the same category as Fodera, Ken Smith, Roscoe or any other fine boutique bass. The fretwork is excellent as is the action.
I am maybe more interested in trades; I am looking for vintage Fender, G&L, or Musicman basses four string only. I’m particular I would love to find an American Vintage II 1954 P-bass in blonde.
I would loathe to ship this but will at your exact expense. I am willing to drive up to 300 miles from Central Oklahoma to meet in person and make a face to face trade.
