The is a very nicely done "faux" Fender Jazz Bass that was built by it's previous owner from various high quality parts. I love everything about it as it's playability is excellent, it's tone is rich and pure and it's looks are second to none.
I am also offering up another custom Jazz Bass and as soon as one sells I will close the thread on the other. I can't be totally "Jazz-Bass-less" now can I?
I don't know who built the body but the neck is a bound and blocked All Parts neck I believe. The sonic blue finish is flawless and only shows very minor wear from being played.
The pickups are stock US Fender J's and the controls are V/V/T. In addition, the bridge volume is a push/pull pot that engages both pickups in a different way that gives the bass more "P-Bass like growl" and increased lows. Very handy at times.
The bass will ship in a beautiful blond G&G vintage case. (If you don't want the case I can deduct $50.00 from the purchase price and ship it in a gig bag)
