This P will absolutely blow the house down. Its been my main player for the last five years. The serial # is E790188, which dates it between 84 and 87. Its equipped with the highly sought after Raven Labs PBR-1 preamp http://www.musicgearreview.com/article-display/221.html, a G&L MFD humbucker and an aftermarket tort pickguard. The neck was professionally refretted about 4 years ago. Weight is just a hair over 8 lbs. The body has been autographed by George Porter Jr. (see picture). Currently strung with Ken Smith Compressors. There are the usual dings and scratches you would expect from a bass of this vintage which has been played, but no significant mars or blemishes.
It will ship in your choice of a Baja padded gigbag, Roadrunner hybrid case or an aftermarket hardshell case all in good condition. I will also include the original MIJ pickup, electronics and white 3 ply pickguard. If you like the George Porter medallion Ill include that also.
