Details

The B-15R reissue combo. Made in USA: switchable to either 100w and 60w capability, original and in extremely good condition. Has normal and padded inputs, DI, fx loop, 3-band eq with Ampegs typical 5-way mid frequency shift knob, hi-boost and low-boost switches. It has the capability to run on either 6L6 or EL34 tubes, and I will include both sets! This combo has the ability to sound very vintage, or can get really modern depending on what tubes and wattage selection, and horn setting you go with. Total versatility and a killer recording amp, every engineer loves it! Cab has the 1x15 and the tweeter can be turned hi/low/or off, and has the removable dolly. Condition is nice, has a few top scuffs in the diamond tolex, but no rips. Tube cage had a small dent in one corner, but straightened out as best as possible.

Now, I do have the matching extension cab for it, but I'd kinda rather not let the ext cab go. However if someone really wants both, then I'll let it go. But I won't sell the ext cab before the combo.

For sale or for trade, a long-shot trade I know. I simply want another bigger rig than my regular big rig.
******Only trades I'm after:******
The B-15R combo straight trade for either a Mesa Titan, or a Mesa powerhouse 8x10 cab.
I will not ship out of the US!!!! Very heavy, shipping is $90

This will come with power and speaker cables, manual, and two tube sets.
I'm pricing the combo at $1250.
Combo and Ext cab $1650.

Yeah, I want that amp, and have ever since it came out. By far, I like the B15R better than the vintage B15's- but alas, all I can offer is a free bump and my best wishes.

Yes it does kill for recording, and small room venues.

That's the thing...I don't need to get rid of it.

Caca, I realize we have some pretty similar taste in gear

Would you be interested in a sale or would you rather wait for trades first?

I did list prices I'd sell it at in my last sentence.
But the combo is heavy and weighs 115 lbs, shipping would be $90, but I certainly would have no problem sending it anywhere in the 48.

Yeah, these are getting harder to find. With the ability of switching tube types and output power, I really think alot of folks missed out when they were in stores and folks say they didn't 'get it' when they tried them out. I really think the best sound is achieved with the EL34 tubes in place.

So far I have a deal pending.

+1 And running the half power switch. This is a great amp. I have a '63 and a B-100R and I STILL want a B15R!
