Up for sale is my beautiful Roscoe LG3005 fretless. I love this bass and it is easily the best fretless I've ever played (with the best B string of any bass to boot). However, it has become apparent that I am more in need of a fretted bass at the moment (which is why the money from this is going towards a brand new fretted Roscoe
).
It has a spanish cedar body, a burl redwood top (with the added bonus of some sick flame), a maple/purpleheart neck and an ebony fingerboard ($1000 upcharge these days). The serial number is 3380 which places it somewhere in the late 90's (for reference my LG2000 is serial number 3142 and it was built in '96).
It has a few dings on it, and there's flaws under the finish on a few of the burls. You honestly can't notice them from more than a foot or two away. I took it by the Roscoe shop a few weeks ago and got a full setup including reangling the neck pocket so the action is superb and it mwahs for days. It's strung with a virtually new set of DR Sunbeams.
Looking for $1500 + shipping.
Feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions or want more detailed pictures.
