Jake, The neck is original. The original tuners were missing when I got the bass, so I replaced them with the pegs.

I noticed both basses have a what looks like a hole that has been cut on the side. What is this? Something to make it easier to set the soundpost?

Wish you was closer.

Not to answer for the OP, but I noticed in the description. "Sound post access holes"

SRT80. That is correct. Makes sound post a lot easier. Just pulls straight out as it is held in place by six rare earth magnets.
