FS King Mortone and American Standard

    Who did the access ports and the new neck for the King?

    Jake, The neck is original. The original tuners were missing when I got the bass, so I replaced them with the pegs.

    Really? That's pretty outstanding wood for a King neck! ;)
     
  7. I noticed both basses have a what looks like a hole that has been cut on the side. What is this? Something to make it easier to set the soundpost?

    Wish you was closer.

    SRT80. That is correct. Makes sound post a lot easier. Just pulls straight out as it is held in place by six rare earth magnets.
