Up for sale is my Late 80's Spector NS2-A (Kramer era)
I took this bass off the market to use as a project bass, but now I am looking at an amp here on TB and need to part with a few things.
This bass does not have a SN, but I have heard from PJ @ Spector that the early Korean made spectors did not have one.
-Schaller tuners
-Spector branded EMG pickups
-Haz-Lab Copy pre
**looks like the owner before me did some work to make it an 18V system but it is currently running 9V...also I believe that this individual also wired the knobs backward form standard Spector config (top volume knob controls P pickup, bottom Volume knob controls J pickup). also there is a faint bit of signal still coming thru when both vol are turned down, but I think that is just a grounding issue as the same thing happened to another bass I owned.
Other than the strange wiring and a few scratches, this bass is in really good condition for its age!
Also, the frets need some work...it doesn't affect the playability, but there are a few uneven frets.
Its a great project bass or a nice vintage axe!
