Change out the preamp tube. That might fix it. I have a tube pre going into a power amp, and my amp started hissing and was sometimes slightly distorted. I changed out the tubes and it was fine.

Changed out tubes tonight could tell a difference it really sounds good just something still sounds odd to me, the master volume pot is alittle scratchy and seems to taper off pulling volume up at like 3 oclock and up

might just be me be overly paranoid about it, I will offer it up for trade and will be willing to except returns and will split return shipping within 2 days of receiving if u aren't satisfied with the amp
