Time has come to move on to another hobby! I have several basses to move. I am not in a hurry, and not desperate, but would like to move a few to where they will be played more than they are. I will post more later in the day;
1) 1969 Fender Jazz Bass. From what I have determined, this was sold to and English buyer, and was refinished in a Fiesta Red colour prior to his purchase. Rosewood neck with blocks. As the legend goes, it was not unusual in England at that time for all basses to be made in Sunburst and then refinished if someone wanted a different colour. The bass comes with a non original case and plays well. It appears that all else is original. $4000 + shipping ...... NOW $3800

2) 1970/73 Fender Jazz. I bought this bass from a reputable Dealer in Seattle, but when I received it, the body is 1973, and the neck is from 1970. The neck pickup is not original but the bridge pickup, and pots appear to be original. Not sure if pickguard is original. The bass is in great shape and plays well. I think $2200 would be a good deal for someone who want a player or who wants to buy a new neck and pickup to restore this bass.
