Time has come to move on to another hobby! I have several basses to move. I am not in a hurry, and not desperate, but would like to move a few to where they will be played more than they are. I will post more later in the day;

1) 1969 Fender Jazz Bass. From what I have determined, this was sold to and English buyer, and was refinished in a Fiesta Red colour prior to his purchase. Rosewood neck with blocks. As the legend goes, it was not unusual in England at that time for all basses to be made in Sunburst and then refinished if someone wanted a different colour. The bass comes with a non original case and plays well. It appears that all else is original. $4000 + shipping ...... NOW $3800

2) 1970/73 Fender Jazz. I bought this bass from a reputable Dealer in Seattle, but when I received it, the body is 1973, and the neck is from 1970. The neck pickup is not original but the bridge pickup, and pots appear to be original. Not sure if pickguard is original. The bass is in great shape and plays well. I think $2200 would be a good deal for someone who want a player or who wants to buy a new neck and pickup to restore this bass.

WOW! This thread is definitely going to make me wish I had more disposable income. Beautiful stuff so far...can't wait to see what else gets added.

That is an impressive lineup! The '83 and '93 MMs are definitely floating my boat...
(Darren, I was about to link you to this... but I should have known you'd be all over it)

Anyway, free bump for a lot of awesome and GLWTS's!

HOLY CRAP!

Don't tell me you're resigning your Knucklehead status as well....

John I suspect I will keep 5-10 Musicman basses (at a minimum). I also have 6 new Larrivees high end acoustics for sale and will keep one or two of them ;-)

A friend was thinking about getting a Stingray.....I saw your add here and passed your number along.....he'll probably pick your brain on this....Stingrays are not my field of expertise. lol Good luck with your sales :)

Damn good thing that the '78 Sunburst Ray doesn't have a rosewood neck, or else it would be on its way to Tucson.

Great collection. Good luck with the sale.
