    Time has come to move on to another hobby! I have several basses to move. I am not in a hurry, and not desperate, but would like to move a few to where they will be played more than they are. I will post more later in the day;

    1) 1969 Fender Jazz Bass. From what I have determined, this was sold to and English buyer, and was refinished in a Fiesta Red colour prior to his purchase. Rosewood neck with blocks. As the legend goes, it was not unusual in England at that time for all basses to be made in Sunburst and then refinished if someone wanted a different colour. The bass comes with a non original case and plays well. It appears that all else is original. $4000 + shipping ...... NOW $3800

    2) 1970/73 Fender Jazz. I bought this bass from a reputable Dealer in Seattle, but when I received it, the body is 1973, and the neck is from 1970. The neck pickup is not original but the bridge pickup, and pots appear to be original. Not sure if pickguard is original. The bass is in great shape and plays well. I think $2200 would be a good deal for someone who want a player or who wants to buy a new neck and pickup to restore this bass.

    3) Very nice conditioned Natural 1983 Music Man Stingray. I have 9-10 pre Ernie Ball Stingrays and this may be the best of the bunch. All set up and ready to go, comes with a Tear Drop case. $2200 + shipping. http://s160.photobucket.com/albums/t166/48blast/1983 Natural SR4H B022707/

    4) 2008 Limited Edition Music Man Stingray 4HH. Seqouia finish. I bought this bass and have had it in storage ever since - It has never been played. Comes with the limited edition case. These are very rare and you never see New Old Stock available. [DEL]$2000[/DEL] + shipping. NOW $1800

    5) 1996 Music Man 20th Anniversary Stongray 4H. Only 1250 made. This one is mint and unusual in that it appears to have been made without a pickguard. Weighs just 8.9 lbs. No Blems no issues, just a great player with great collectability. $2000 Shipped in North America. Will ship worldwide if you pay the shipping. Comes with 20th Anniversary case. NOW $1800 http://s160.photobucket.com/albums/t166/48blast/1996 20th Anniversary SR4H A01667 - Not For Sale/

    7) 1993 Music Man Stingray - Mary Kay - 4H. Has a rosewood fretboard. Very few of these were made. I heard as few as 10. But they are rare. This one is in good condition, other than a scratch on top near the bridge. comes with hard shell case. [DEL] $1250[/DEL] shipped in North America. Sold/U]

    8) 1978 Sunburst Music Man Stingray Serial B007451 - Decent shape for an old bass, but can use a set up. Comes with hard shell case. $2350 plus shipping. Will ship world wide.

    John I suspect I will keep 5-10 Musicman basses (at a minimum). I also have 6 new Larrivees high end acoustics for sale and will keep one or two of them ;-)

    Damn good thing that the '78 Sunburst Ray doesn't have a rosewood neck, or else it would be on its way to Tucson.

    Great collection. Good luck with the sale.
