Details

I'm relisting this amazing Pavel Hadara Deluxe 5.
- buckeye burl top (w/ matching headstock, pickup covers & knob tops)
- wenge core
- swamp ash back
- wenge neck
- macassar ebony fingerboard (24 frets w/ 0 fret)
- Pavel Signature Pickups
- Aguilar OBP-3 pre (w/boost&cut for bass, mid, treble)
- 3 way selector for EACH pickup, which is an awesome feature on this bass featuring (series humbucker/parallel humbucker/single coil)
- push/pull active/passive switching
- 35" scale, 24 frets, string spacing is adjustable at bridge
- est. @ 7.5-8.5 Ibs.
- Hipshot Ultralight Tuners 2+3
- Deep "Set-Neck" design with ergonomically contoured asymmetric heel
- High mass Brass Hipshot bridge slightly recessed into the top.

This bass is the one with the famous headstock repair documented here: Forrester Kustoms Guitar Repair & Service - Guitar Repair Pics
If you read up on the history of this bass you'll see how impressive the repair was, and I can honestly say you'd have to do some serious close inspection to ever know it was there. It's really that good.

Sounds incredible with huge tonal variety from single coil jazz sounds to huge humbucker series sound and plenty in between. Plenty of growl on tap and plenty of smooth low end on tap. Superb build quality and amazing to play.

This is lovely..!! Bump for a beauty!
What is the neck width and depth at the 1st and 15th fret?
Would you ship to the UK?

Right in front of the 15th fret the fretboard is 7cm wide. I'm not really sure how to measure neck depth. But using a flexible measuring tape the neck radius is 9cm from 15th fret left side around back of neck to 15th fret other side.

Just after the 24th fret the fretboard is 7 9/10cm wide.

At the 1st fret, right behind the first fret, the fingerboard is 4.5cm wide. And then going around the back of the neck from 1st fret to other side of 1st fret the radius is just under 6.5cm.

Great...thanks for the info!
One more question, is the bridge adjustable at all width-wise? In terms of string spacing...

It does not appear the bridge is adjustable. However, I just measured the string spacing. From center of string to center of string right over the saddles sure looks like 19mm.

Well at this price I was tempted to go with the 35" scale but the 19mm is a little too much for me...thanks for all the info and good luck with the sale. Someone is gonna get a killer deal at this price!

Thanks PortraitOfTracy for enlightening me. I see now the Hipshot bridge is fully adjustable. Wow. I'm no bridge expert but I now see how spacing can be adjusted. Very cool. It's the third screw toward the rear of each saddle position that fully adjusts the spacing.

Ooowee, that is a looker.
Great shots of it.
Looks like it could be a cousin to a MTD,

Here's a great opportunity to get into the Pavel family. The demand is quickly increasing as the word is getting spread. Less than half the cost of new for the Hadara line.
