No Trades.
I am selling two of my most prized Acacia Custom basses. They are absolutely stunning! Matt put so much artistic craftsmanship into these instruments. They both play and sound fantastic.
SOLD
First up is my Acacia Custom neck through 5.
Pommele Sapele top
Mahogany body core
Leopard wood back
9 piece neck, Jatoba, Purple Heart, Mahogany
Gaboon ebony board, fingerboard dots are Birdseye maple, side dots are solid silver wire.
35 inch scale.
Aero Dual coil in ebony pickup covers
Hipshot hardware.
19mm string spacing
Weighs about 9.5lbs.
U-Retro Pre with custom stacked ebony/sapele knobs by THG.
One more note about this bass. The original owner sent his Fodera emperor deluxe so Matt could copy the neck. Judging by my Fodera, Matt did an outstanding job of mimicking the Fodera neck profile.
$1650 Shipped to lower 48 US only. Comes with a Levy's gig bag.

SOLD!!!
Next is my Acacia custom NT fanned fret with burl maple diagonal sized block inlays. Again, I'm pretty sure about the woods but could be wrong. Maybe Jake Wolf can correct me if I'm wrong.
Mahogany body wings,
Burl maple top and back,
13 piece Jatoba neck with maple and mohogany.
Gaboon ebony fingerboard, side dots are solid sliver wire, and I think the bridge is rosewood?..or ebony.
Custom hand milled brass saddles.
Custom wound Bartolini dual coils. Neck is a "C" coil and the bridge pickup is the "CX" coil.
John East U-Retro pre.
Hipshot tuners.
18mm string spacing at the bridge
Scale is 35 inch on the B string, 34 inch for the C string.
Weighs about 9.5lbs.
I played this bass a lot when I was in NYC and people always commented that it was one of the best sounding instruments they've listened to.
Typical playing wear and a former owner, cough..justin...put in a hipshot tuner and some of the headstock was mortised out. No structural issue with it just no very pretty. Again it's on the back of the headstock. I tried to photograph it and it didn't come out as well as it should. I can take additional for serious buyers.
$1700 OBO, buyer pays shipping to lower US 48..NO TRADES. comes with an undercover gigbag with the Acacia logo.
This is a drastic price reduction for the 6 string from my previous for sale thread. People were concerned about the back of the headstock and the current price is more than fair if one chooses to have it repaired.
Here is a sound clip of the 6 string.
