Guys,
I'm considering whether I want to trade my USA Bob Glaub for a CS Fender Precision or a Vintage Fender Precision (years 71 to 74).

I love my Lakland, it's black with tort pickguard, rosewood and jazz width neck. Problem is, I'm really gassing for a good P bass of the type described above and the Lakland is one in my stable that I feel represents a comparable trade.

At this point, I'm just considering the possibility and may pull this. Meanwhile, if anyone may be interested, I'd be happy to discuss and certainly exchange pix.

cheers.

Hi Kevin,
That's a beautiful Jazz and I appreciate you reaching out, but I'm a P bass man. Thanks again and regards. Ant.

Gotta few questions for you about your USA Bob Glaub ...

1) alder, ash or other body wood?
2) how much does it weigh?
3) how old is it?
4) Lakland hybrid split pickup, Lindy Fralin pickup or other?
5) plek'd?

Thanks.

Hi - Here are the details of my actual bass from the Bass Central site.

Alder Body, Quarter-Sawn Rock Maple with Graphite Reinforcement Bars, 1.5” Nut Width, 10” Radius, 34” Scale, Lakland Hybrid Split Pickup, Tortoise Shell Pickguard, Case. SERIAL #BG516. 8.5 LBS.

Not plek'd but great action. Bought it from Cambio. Not sure of age but perhaps one of the Lakland enthusiasts could help based on serial #?
