34" scale
24-fret board
Chambered Makore Body
Flamed Redwood Top
Matching Wood Knobs
Purpleheart-ebony Double inlay between body and top
Maple Neck
Ebony Fingerboard

What exactly is the "marilyn" model from MTD? I am a fan of the basses but no expert on them. Have seen a few of these models and always been curious of what this model name designates that is different from regulars.


Is it the chambered body? Master builders at the shop made it? Top shelf woods?

it's the chambered body :)

As i know, mrln chambered make a better tesonation s the body and the huge thing is the "friendly weight".
GLWTS for a killer bass n a great person.....:hyper::hyper:

Is Marilyn's body much thicker than the regular 535? I am so tempted to pull the trigger on this.
