Hey All,

For sale is a very rare 1996 Warwick Fortress Flashback 5 String in Red. It has the 2-tek bridge, MEC lipsticks and passive electronics, Ash body, Wenge neck and board, and killer vintage looks. These are VERY hard to find. There hasn't been one for sale on Talkbass in over 3 years, and there haven't been any recently on eBay. Bass is in very good condition. The pickups have some wear on them (as do all the flashbacks), and there are a few small imperfections.

I will include the straplocks that come built into the bass, and the strap if you really want it. If shipping, I will ship in a softshell case unless the buyer wants to pay extra for me to purchase a new hardshell case to ship in. Shipping/Packing must be paid by the buyer.

Sold! - $2500. Also open to trades for stuff, especially recording gear. API 500 series racks and modules, outboard compressors, preamps, EQ, basses + cash, etc. Let's make a deal!

Pics here are from my cell. Hi res photos further down the thread.

Beautiful bass. One of the few Warwicks to turn my head.

FYI--you aren't allowed to ask the buyer to pay Paypal fees, and it could get your thread summarily deleted. Best option is to raise the asking price, and if someone offers you less via cash/mo, you have room to negotiate down to account for it. :D

Thanks for the bump. Same model, not same bass.

i remember the pickups being scratched on mine the exact same way, are you sure? i traded it to someone via talk bass for a 4 string flashback and then sold the 4 string. I'm almost positive this is my old one...

Not the same one. I had mine before you sold yours. On your thread, my bass player commented about his drummer having the same bass. I am his drummer. :bassist:

I removed the PayPal fees from my original post. Didn't realize that you couldn't ask for that. Sorry.

Oh wow. I had the same one a few years ago. I kick myself for selling it. I have the same bass now but in 4 string. I miss my 5-er. GLWTS!

Happy B-day bro and good luck with the sale. The bass looks like a Carvin SB5000 on steroids. BUMP-A-ROO for nice looking bass. :hyper:
