First Up:

[DEL]2001 USA made Peavey Cirrus 5 String, fretted. Wenge top and Walnut body: [/DEL] Sold This baby off to Ottawa, Ontario

It is in great condition. However, it is over 10 years old and has been played but not abused. There is a little wear on the top around the top of the neck pickup where my thumb rests and there are a couple very minor dings in the wood, and also shows wear at the back of the neck.Nothing that would constitute "damage" so much as regular wear. More detailed pictures are available upon request.

Price $900 plus shipping.

This beauty off to London, Ontario
[DEL]Peavey Cirrus USA 6 String Redwood/ Alder with Pickup and Preamp Upgrades:
[/DEL]
Up for sale is my ' 98 Peavey Cirrus USA 6-string bass. This is a beautiful looking and sounding bass with a fast playable neck. It's in EXCELLENT condition... the only mark on it is a small crack on the top after I let it slide on to my carpeted floor and a couple of dings on the op that you really have to look for. No buckle rash, no other scratches or dings. The action is incredibly low and this bass plays like "butta".

Upgrades to the pickups and preamp have been done to take this bass to another level (see below)! This is a great chance for someone to snag an awesome and fairly rare bass, the Redwood top wasn't too common to begin with.

WOW - THREE of the greatest basses ever!! Parting must be very hard. My 5-er is still the most amazing bass I have ever played.

BTW - it was MRS. Peavey that passed away a few years ago. Hartley is very alive and well. We had a great chat at the last NAMM.

I am dying to try a bolt on USA Cirrus !! I can only imagine how great the contrast of mohagony and walnut/wenge sound together !! I'm sure it nails the classic tones required of a bass only with the Cirrus trademark crystal clarity ?

Bump for the best basses ever made - The Cirrus.

OK, now you're supposed to tell why the bolt on's are so nice and not just "bump" your thread only. :bassist:

Sorry- different vibe with the bolt on, Wenge fretboard and Millennium Pre. To my ears more versatility in the mid and bottom areas and quicker playing once you get used to the tighter string spacing.
