1984 rare Fender label (not squier as most commonly seen) JV series (JV9****) Probably a 1984 and therefore an Export only model, which I had read is the best. I think they are all amazing, so I cannot attest to this.
I strongly believe this is one of the last JVs ever made. All hardware is original and tarnished.
Sunburst finish, white pg
original knobs (they are kind of cheesy looking knobs, not flattop vintage style, but chrome dome style)
original everything as far as I can tell
Rosewood fingerboard
Great condition except for one big scratch and small dings on back.
$825 shipped!
EDIT: Here is a similiar 1984 JV from a couple years ago http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/...eissue-precision-bass-candy-apple-red-832905/
I have some confusion over why the neck isnt dated. I have done research that supports it to be what I think it is. That said, Please understand I cannot be 100% sure.
Im also willing to sell just the body (no neckplate) . $350 shipped
