In addition to the beautifully figured quilted maple top finished in Light Amber Sunburst, the headstock has a matching highly figured quilted maple veneer finished in matching Light Amber Sunburst with a contrasting black Modulus logo

The neck is slim and fast, characteristic of these pre-truss rod era Qs.
Scale is 35", string spacing is 19mm at bridge. The bass is 8.5 lbs on my digital scale...and feels light.
She plays and sounds great! Modern, bright, present, and discrete.
The finish is flawless. Just some slight wear on the gold on the bridge from being in the case, I believe. Really, no playing wear whatsoever on this nearly 20 year old bass from the classic (IMHO) Geoff Gould era of a now-extinct company.
I am selling this Quantum 4 since I am really into 5 string almost exclusively right now. I own several other Modulus basses. I really like them for their stability, feel, and sound.

Honestly, I am not really a "minty mint" kind of guy, and this one could be mistaken for new.

I feel ya, Ive had Modulus fever for a couple of years ha, trying to build something of a "collection". Why? I cannot really explain. Never had a Q4 though but this thing is rockin cool!!!
