I've been helped during my life, and it's only right that i do what i can for other folks.I have an swr working pro 400 that I don't use. It should be used. I figure there has to be a player out there who needs a head. Please don't try to get a free piece of gear if you already have something to work with. Let a cool thing be a cool thing. Pm me with your situation. I reserve the right to choose who it goes to, and you must pay shipping.
Its a small thing, but maybe it will do a lot of good.

Find a local non profit agency (youth theater, church, etc).

I donated an old (huge) 16 channel Yamaha mixer to a local theater for their house system--- worked great-- to big to move around.

The can write you a donation receipt for the value---that comes off your income for tax purposes.

Another suggestion... contact a local bass teacher/s or school and let them know you're looking for a deserving student who's at the point in their playing that they need an upgrade. I've known a few players over the years that would have definitely benefited from such a gesture.

Good luck finding the right recipient!

With many music and art programs always seeing cuts, local public schools might jump at a donation!

Thanks for the kind words, and the great ideas. I'm going to give it a bit to make sure folks see the post also. Anyway thanks for the support on this forum. Everybody has always been really helpful.

This is nothing but awesome. I wish I was in a position to do something this utterly cool! A lot of people have helped me get where I am, and I do my best to repay those debts every day!

I would have loved one, but I'm currently building a head anyways, to compensate for lack of said head.
