I used to own a unique fretless SKB3005. Sold it here on TB back in '09 only for financial purposes. I managed to be ok with letting it go by saying I always wished it was unlined anyway... like this one. So now I'm SO so tempted!

Questions:

(1) Having owned a Roscoe fretless diamondwood bass, I can say that this fretboard does NOT look like the diamondwood I had. Also... when I go to the roscoe site and check out this bass by its serial number (6224) it lists this as a LINED fretless fingerboard. As this is obviously unlined, i wonder if the diamondwood part is incorrect as well. I LOVE this fingerboard regardless, I'm just curious. Any thoughts?

(2) The roscoe website also lists this bass as having 19mm spacing, which would actually rock. And that wouldn't be out of place with the other custom options on this bass, but as the Roscoe site did get the lined fingerboard part wrong, can you confirm the string spacing is indeed 19mm?

Thank you!!!!!!!!! :-D

Not having much experience with Roscoes in general I cannot, without talking with Roscoe, confirm the Diamondwood aspect of the fretboard. I will check that over the next couple of days. They did miss the lined portion of the description.

The spacing is 19mm...

This was my old bass. I ordered it from Roscoe.
It is amazing, best 5-string I ever played.
If I did not have a hand injury I never would have sold it.
This ones flat out kills.
I will have another Roscoe someday.

Pretty sure I'd go unlined for my next try at fretless. The solid body is very cool and unique. Who needs a fancy top, right?

Beautiful bass bump.
