This bass is going to be a hard one to let go.
It is the nicest, lightest, best playing and best sounding Lakland I have ever owned.
It's been my main bass for almost 5 years. It has seen almost all of my gigs, sessions and musical endeavors and worked like a champ.
It's not in mint condition. It has a couple of dings here and there but nothing major and nothing through the clear coat. The neck, fingerboard, electronics, tuners and bridge all work fine. It's got mojo!
The body is ash with very nice grain.
The color is Teal Burst.
The bass weighs 8 lbs 2 ounces on my digital scale. One of the lightest Laklands I have ever owned and seen.
It has the Lakland pickups and electronics. That combined with the bass body's wood and the basses maple fingerboard gives the bass both a great finger style and slap tone. And the B string IMO is the best in the business. And it has nice low action.
All and all it's a great bass. A players dream.
So why am I getting rid it you ask? Over the past 2 years I have noticed
that I am not liking the 19 mm spacing. It has been becoming increasingly more uncomfortable for me to play. As hard as I have tried to deal with it I am fighting a losing battle. So I went back to a bass I used to play with 17mm spacing and problem solved. Now I need to get
a back up bass with 17 mm spacing. With money tight something has to go.
The bass comes with original creme Lakland hardshell case which is in mint condition.
