Hey all!
Well, I just got this bass a few weeks ago and It's amazing! It's everything everyone has said about these basses. There's really nothing bad to say about it at all. Everything is fantastic, the play, the feel, the looks, the sound! Buuuuut, it's not MY sound....UGH!
So, off she goes to someone who will love and appreciate her.
I had the opportunity to test some amazing basses lately. One thing I can say is that soapbar style pickups are probably my thing. I did the Music Man thing, a bit too aggressive but enjoyable. I LOVE the jazz bass look and feel, but I just can't ever get MY sound from a jazz bass. And believe me, I've tried more than a few times.
I'm tossing this up on a whim because I saw a few things I'm interested in, but always happy to look at trade offers.

It's in fantastic shape, same as when I got it, it's just not my sound and I'm pretty sad about that. Oddly enough I also tried a BN5 and that wasn't it either, so maybe I'm just not meant to be an Fbass guy, but that doesn't mean that you're not!
