The Lane Poor is a boost only, I think it ads a little color, or maybe it's just so cool that I think it's doing something;). It's awesome for passive basses, I just don't have any;)

The Board on the LP is about 1x1 with a depth of 3/4, so yeah you could put it in a jazz bass, It works great plugged into a Walwart, I'm sure it would be just as fine with a 9-volt, but it's awesome as it is for any passive bass. Thanks for looking. B.
