SOLD.

Up for sale is a really beautiful Carvin Icon 4 string. Walnut body and neck with spalted maple top on the body and headstock. This has the Carvin radiused humbucking pickups. A former owner installed a three band Bass Mods preamp, which performs quite nicely. One note, the pickup pan is wired "backwards" from what is usually considered the norm. Turning clockwise favors the bridge pickup.

There are a couple of small digs, the only noticeable one being on the end of he headstock.

The bass sounds and plays great. It will be shipped in a padded gig bag, and double boxed.
Price includes shipping in the US 48. I'll ship to Hawaii or Alaska, too, but would need to check on shipping. $899.

Its still helpful to post the price. The Android tablet and phone apps don't show the price from the special field when you create the ad. I can only see it inside the ad text itself. I'm on Android now and the price only shows on desktops.

Same with the iPhone app. I can't see the price unless it's in a post. I wish there was a fix for that.

Good luck with this. I love my Carvin. These are often overlooked.

Bump for a super nice guy with a super nice bass. I've met WoodyG3 in person and played this bass. Plays great, sounds awesome. If I was a 4-stringer, I'd snatch this guy up. But alas, I already have my Icon 5! :)

Woody, ALL of my basses must be wired "backwards" then, because all of mine with a pickup blend go to the neck pickup when I turn the knob clockwise! ;)

The original preamp was long gone when I bought the bass. The current preamp is, in fact, active/passive. The pickups are hot, BTW, lots of output.

Thanks for the kind words 5sg. LOL, yeah, I meant that the bridge is selected by turning closewise. I'll edit the original post.
