This is an interesting piece I had Rick Turner build for me. It was completed a couple of months ago and has never been gigged or even taken out of my bedroom. This is a Rick Turner Renaissance 6 string with, and I quote, "Acacia melanoxylon, aka black acacia or Tasmanian acacia." It is a replica of the bass Ed Friedland is playing here:

The spacing is 19mm,
The scale is 35"
The bass includes the "dingus attachment" to hang a strap from. This removes some of the neck dive from the instrument.
The bass comes in a padded gig bag and I will pack this well.
