Lake Placid Blue Warmoth PJ - ¼ Pound P and UltraJazz J pickups
Great bass - the best of everything. But wife’s uncertain job and too much gear in my life tells me it’s time for a sale. Plus, I’ve just gotten attached to a nice swamp ash Mexican Jazz that needs new pickups (and will be outfitted with same electronics and hardware as this bass). It’s time to pass on a great deal (Ihope) to another TBer:

· Warmoth Jazz neck – gloss finished by Warmoth – great birdseye maple neck with beautiful honey brown rosewood board – Fender “Jazz bass” headstock decal added and nitro’d (same way Fender does it)
· Duncan ¼ Pound Precision, DiMarzio Ultra J Jazz pickups
· Selectone passive controls – (1) Stacked Vol/fine tone select; (2) Blend; (3) Precision pickup tone and (4) Jazz pickup tone
· Hipshot brass/chrome A type bridge
· Schaller tuners

I was always an active bass guy till I tried Selectone controls. I seriously recommend you search them on TB if not familiar. I talked extensively with the folks at Selectone. I was not disappointed. They tease out all the best tones minus any unusable settings.
Condition: Body has a few small dings – drop filled with nitro LPB and recovered with gloss nitro – too hard to photo, but the bass looks perfect on stage. All hardware, neck, electronics are perfect. The bass is passive, but completely noise-free – great for recording. Plus, it’s ready to gig-ready upon receipt.
Strung with DR Legend flats and recently set up.

Please note – If you prefer, the Fender decals are easily removed (any negative comments will be reported to mods) if you prefer. If you meet the asking price, I’ll strip the decals at no cost to you and refin the peghead in clear nitro (I’ve refinished many, many instruments and do a nice job). Frankly – to me, it looks better with the decal than the bare peghead). BTW - Sorry about the pics.
