According to a digital bathroom type scale it is about 9.5 lbs.

Brubakers have absolutely no neck dive either.

Hey, I know this bass is gone, but I am curious to know why you sold it. I'm looking to buy one of these, or possibly the SC model and I'm doing some research into them and weighing the pros and cons. The mods you made were the ones I'd have made. I only wish I saw this sooner. Damn!

Sold it really because I was pursuing other interests. I'm quite impressed by the Brutes. They are well made and balance great. The necks are fast and very easy to play on. For sure upgrade the preamp and pickups. If you like the MM style pickup at the bridge then these are great options. I'm learning that I'm not really a fan of the MM style which did influence my decision to sell the bass to some degree. If I were to do it all over again, and I might sometime, I'd probably go for a Bartolini quad coil in the MM position to avoid hum when selecting the coils in single coil modes. In any case, the buyer received a killer bass, especially for the money. Unique looking, nice sounding and fantastic playing instrument. Hope this helps.
