Up for trade/sale is my Fender Roadworn Jazz bass. Fantastic light weight (8.4) jazz less than 1 YO, comes with it's gig bag. NO issues at all with this bass.

I am now in a rockabilly/early rock project and am in need of a single coil 51 P. So, my excellent J is up on the block.

For anyone interested or looking to part with their 51 (not interested in a Sting) in trade for my roadworn J, more pics are available.

Isn't the Sting signature EXACTLY what you're wanting??? It's a single coil 51 slab body P.

+1 I have the sting trust me it's everything you're looking for these basses are awesome the only deal breaker for some is the Sting inlay but I really never notice it.These Road Worn basses are the bees knees this shouldn't last long GLWTS.

The Sting bass is not a "51 single coil slab body". It is a 1954 reissue with a contour body. But they are great basses.

At this time I am not interested in a Sting. I am too sheepish to play a 51 with the 12th fret inlay. Same goes for a Squier. Lol

Waiting for trade offers on a nice 51. Used and worn is fine as long as it plays nice and not too heavy.
