I bought this Premier Dealer Network Music Man Bongo (sweetwater) a month ago. It is new, strings changed that's it. I'm pricing it 300 below price paid, $1600 the retail was 2,675.00
This bass is beautiful, I had to wait for it, and was lucky to get such a nice specimen. It only weighs 8.4 lb's. These are obviously no longer available. This bass plays itself, only slight exaggeration...
One last thing, I tried to capture the look of the wood in the pictures... Couldn't do it...
The specs:
Body: African mahogany-finished in a custom Neptune Blue
Neck:Figured, roasted maple necks and high profile, wide stainless steel frets.
Neck Finish:Gunstock oil and hand-rubbed special wax blend
This is the first time Music Man offered maple fretboards on the Bongo...
On trades, I am generally looking to trade even or up, exceptions abound. I still haven't owned a Sadowsky or a Nordy... I would also love a Prat 6 string... My sickness is strong...
