For sale is a G&B preamp. These seem to be a bit enigmatic up here on TB but from what I have learned in my research, these are made in Korea and are the OEM preamp for many popular imported basses such as ESPs.
This preamp came to me installed in a Warwick bass that I have recently returned to stock condition. The preamp is a 2 band EQ. It sounded pretty good in the Wick and worked perfectly fine.
The unit I replaced this with had all new pots and a jack pre-wired so my tech pulled all the existing stuff out of the bass and it is included here with the preamp.
There are 4 pots (one of them was wired as a dummy) and everything was working except for one pot that spins in a circle. But since this is a 2 band preamp you are good to go with everything here and the volume and Treble pots are marked.
I am also including the old jack and whatever mounting hardware was left over. Everything is pictured and ready to install with minimal wiring.
It would be fun to keep this around for practice and projects but I need to offset the cost of the stock pre which wasn't cheap.
I am asking $SOLD shipped for everything- the preamp, the jack, the pots and the mounting hardware. So you will be ready to go with this package.
