USA Custom Guitars (Tommy) put this neck together for me; Ovangkol Jazz neck with Wenge fretboard. It turned out simply amazing. A great NEW Roadrunner gig bag is available for another 25.00; it's one of the better bags, well built, nice padding. (See below).
Lake Placid blue body from Warmoth (Alder).
Super light weight; EXACTLY 8.2 lbs weighed on a Fed EX shipping scale
Dimarzio Model J Jazz pickup set (they are noiseless/ split coil.
Sound is indescribable. GROWL: Like a Jazz, but really strong musical mids/ lows and more punch. Yeah, Fender meets Warwick. It's what it sounds like. My family is actually upset that I'm selling this stuff; it's so one of a kind, and each build has over 2,000 dollars in it.
PRICE INCLUDES UP TO 40.00 SHIPPING COSTS VIA FEDEX TO CONTINENTAL USA ONLY.
(If shipping is more, I'll require you to pay the difference to me. 40 bucks should cover most if not all continental USA locations.

I'm very painfully letting go of this and several other absolute favorite basses, necks and parts. Out of sheer, serious necessity...thus everything is priced very, very nicely for quick sale.

This and every instrument I', putting up for sale, is simply impeccable, the very best I have ever owned in terms of sound, design, stability, playability, adjustability, weight, comfort. I mean to the finest details. I really don't mess around with less than stellar anything. Not enough time.

This (and the others) naturally have all aluminum hardware, this one has a Hipshot type A bridge and Hipshot HB6c tuners (even custom made aluminum neck plates) and are wired my a master electrician/ amp/pickup builder who is my best friend, and the fretwork, nut slotting, and every aspect of luthier is second to none.
These basses play themselves, and are incomparable. That's why I own them; they're the favorites I kept and said I'd never sell.
Currently strung up with Thomastik-Infeld Jazz rounds. Still quite fresh.
I will very carefully package and ship as soon as Pay Pal Payment has cleared- as always. You'll get the best care in shipping, just like with the instrument.

I'm having a family crisis now, so PLEASE, don't send emails with questions until you've read the whole ad; I don't want to blow you off, but time is short. THANK YOU!

Please note:

No Trades of any sort:
The price is very sweet; and set to sell quick. You will NOT be disappointed, I promise, :) no haggling.

PayPal only. ****No Exceptions. Thank You.***
(If you want the bass but cannot make paypal payment immediately, I will try to waitlist you, as always...)

Continental USA purchases only. I simply have not got the resources or time to do otherwise.

Again, price includes up to 40.00 for shipping via Fed Ex; if it's more, just pay me the difference.

If you want a really great gig bag, include 25.00 dollars more. Please
the pics of the roadrunner bag; I have several, and love them; The gig bag is as pristine as the bass.

THANK YOU.IMG_0366.JPG

I love everything about this. If only it was a P-Bass...
The model J PuPs and the ovangkol/ wedge render this the very closest I've ever heard a J sound to a P. In volume and fatness it smokes my 2002 American standard P bass for things like geezer butler to Howie from the Heartbreakers...literally out- did a P bass with a Fralin for fatness.
